The ‘Another Chance’ programme is
a Youth Endowment funded programme which is currently in
mobilisation phase, and due to begin offering support for young
people from July 2023. The programme engages young people involved
in a group dynamic with a risk of committing violent offences. The
programme is specifically targeted at the communities in Central
Manchester and North Trafford. Community consensus and support is
vital in delivering a service within the community.
This work will engage with community members and other programme
stakeholders to both inform of the proposed service and establish
where further consultation and community involvement is
required.
GMCA engagement team do not have current capacity to facilitate
this engagement in the timeframes required.
£10,000 is approved to commission SMSR
Research Ltd to conduct community consultation and engagement for
the ‘Another Chance’ programme.
