As agreed, by the Deputy Mayor at the November 2023 Violence Reduction Governance Board, the GM VRU wishes to host a series of workshops intended as a forum for colleagues from across the GM system, including all 10 CSPs, GMP, Fire, Health, Probation, Education & VCSE to convene and workshop thoughts and ideas to underpin the implementation plan that will govern delivery of the Greater Than Violence strategy. This Decision Notice refers to space to hold the third of these workshops, which will engage partners within the GM VCSE sector.

The Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit (reserves budget) are seeking to make the following payment for a VRU hosted training event:

Friends Meeting House:
A payment to be made of £570.00 to book a room at Friends Meeting House, Manchester for the Violence Reduction Unit’s Greater Than Violence Strategy Implementation Plan VCSE Workshop on Monday 26th Feb 2024 as well as Teas & Coffees, served twice during the workshop, plus hot breakfast sandwiches and pastries, for the 30 workshop attendees. No space within GMCA is available on this date.
