In order to implement the digital victims of
crime gateway support project, we require 2 x of each type of these
license packs that will enable victims of crime to use and create
user accounts and store data.
The cost is per month, and we would need to purchase the licences
for 9 months (this is to do with GMCA’s next licence
anniversary check point being next April).
This would then give us 1000 licences to allow people to access the
website, and 200 licences to allow users to create an
account.
We would monitor this monthly, and if needed, would need to acquire
additional licences to fit the demand on the gateway. It is felt
that this current approach is proportionate to anticipated
demand.
A funding envelope of £4950 to enable
the go-live of the victims of crime digital support gateway at the
end of August. We require the purchasing of packs of licences
through Phoenix Software to allow the public to:
• Access the website, which is classed as someone being an
‘anonymous user’
• Create an account in the portal, which is classed as someone
being an ‘authenticated user.
To cover a 9-month period as a trial period, this would work out
as:
1 month = 2 x £58.59 + 2 x £156.23
1 month = £117.18 + £312.46
1 month = £429.64
9 months = £429.64 x 9
= £3866.76
(+ Contingency of £1,083.24 in case further license packs are
required by demand)
=£4950
