BREXIT PREPAREDNESS To receive a report from Paul Morgan, Head of Commercial Services, GMCA Waste and Resources, which provides the Committee with an update on the Potential risks associated with leaving the EU with all rights and reciprocal arrangements with the EU ending (a “no deal” or “hard” Brexit); and the measures taken to address these risks should they materialize. |

EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC To consider the adoption of the following resolution:-
That, under section 100 (A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the press and public should be excluded from the meeting for the following items on business on the grounds that this involved the likely disclosure of exempt information, as set out in paragraphs 3 & 5 of Part 1, Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 and that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information. |
