Decision:

That apologies be received and noted from Councillor Neil Emmott (Rochdale) & Councillor Gerald Cooney (Tameside).

Appointment of Chair to the AGMA Executive Board - 2024/25

Under Section 9.2 of the AGMA Constitution, Members of the Board are required to elect a Chair for 2024/25 from the largest political group represented on the Board. 

 

Decision:

That the Mayor or Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, be appointed as Chair of the AGMA Executive Board under Section 9.2 of the AGMA Constitution.

Appointment of Vice Chairs to the AGMA Executive Board - 2024/25

Under Section 9.1 of the AGMA Constitution Members of the Board may appoint up to 3 Vice Chairs for 2024/25.

Under Section 9.1 of the AGMA Constitution Members of the Board may appoint up to 3 Vice Chairs for 2024/25.

 

·               To consider the appointment of the Deputy Mayor, as a Vice Chair, under Section 9.1, of the Constitution.

·               To agree the appointment of Councillor Mark Hunter as a Vice Chair, under Section 9.1, of the Constitution

·               To consider the appointment of one other member as a Vice Chair, under Section 9.1, of the Constitution

 

 

 

 

Decision:

1.    That the appointment of City Mayor Paul Dennett Deputy, as a Vice Chair of AGMA, under Section 9.1, of the Constitution be approved.

 

2.    That the appointment of Councillor Mark Hunter as a Vice Chair of AGMA, under Section 9.1, of the Constitution be approved.

 

3.    That the appointment of Councillor Bev Craig as a Vice Chair of AGMA, under Section 9.1, of the Constitution be approved.
