Following the achievement of Business Case
approvals, in line with the agreed Growth Deal governance
arrangements:
1. Approve the payment of grants of £2.409 million to Bolton
Council in relation to the delivery of the Salford Bolton Network
Improvement Programme – Bolton Delivery Package 5 scheme
(Newport Street/Trinity Street junction and the Newport Street
Interchange site as part of the Manchester Road Gateway scheme) as
set out in paragraphs 2.1 to 2.7; and
2. Approve the funding of up to £0.546 million for the
Manchester School Access Improvements Minor Works Scheme as set out
in paragraphs 2.8 to 2.11.
