A full strategic needs assessment for victims of crime will be undertaken in financial year 2024/25. Not only will this inform the next stage of our commissioning cycle but will also assist in identifying our priorities as the Government’s multi-year commitment to victims funding is ending in March 2025. Extending support services will maintain stability across the sector and continue to provide essential support to victims in GM.

An Expression of Interest exercise will also be undertaken to appoint a provider to review the Tier 2 services for victims of crime. This proposed extension of existing services will allow adequate time to undertake the review and communicate this to services and partners.
