GMCA requires an organisation with a
combination of criminal justice research and lived experience
expertise to support the Improving Police Custody Programme.
Revolving Doors support and develop the skills and ambitions of
people with lived experience. They advocate for system level change
led by the people who use services.
Revolving Doors Agency is an award-winning national charity with
over 20 years of experience aiming to change systems and improve
services for people caught in the ‘revolving door’
– those who come into repeat contact with the criminal
justice system due to multiple unmet needs.
Revolving Doors will have a phased approach to the support, this
will include reviewing how the custody process operates and
supporting future improvements.
